How to remove sticky label residue from inside sandals?

I recently bought a pair of sandals, used them twice and the labels kept moving so I ended up tearing them off because they were annoying me. The problem is the inside of my sandals are too sticky and therefore uncomfortable to use because they keep sticking to my shoe. How to take the stickyness off?

How to remove sticky label residue from inside sandals?
dab some rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and rub it on the sticky spot. it will take the sticky stuff right off
Reply:Baby oil and baby powder.
Reply:peanut butter or baby oil or regular cooking oil.
Reply:Any cooking oil will do it, olive oil, sunflower, etc. You can use nail varnish remover, but be careful as it could take the colour off the shoe or damage any plastic.

In either case you only need a tiny bit on cotton wool or a tissue.
Reply:Rub it with butter and a dry cloth.
Reply:nail polish removerworks
Reply:rubbing alcohol
Reply:use lighter fluid to get anything sticky off of any surface....it works, i%26#039;ve done it
Reply:How are your sandels sticking to your shoes, you wearing them at the same time?
Reply:Lighter Fluid. Just put some on a paper towel, and wipe the sticky stuff away.

TAH DAH!!
Reply:Rubbing gently with Avon SkinSoSoft will get sticky label residue off anything and hasn%26#039;t hurt anything I%26#039;ve used it on yet.
Reply:Try using tape...or cleaners like ajax, cold water ...
Reply:Buy a bottle of %26quot;Goo Gone.%26quot; It%26#039;s available at Home Depot or any hardware store.
Reply:%26quot;Goo-Gone%26quot; a petrolium based cleaner available at Dollar Tree.
Reply:A LITTLE ALCOHOL,SHOULD DO THE TRICK.
Reply:Baby oil.
Reply:WD40 is the best thing to remove the sticky glue. I have used it heaps of time. If you already have a can try it before you go out and buy goo-gone. It will save you some money.
Reply:wipe it off with %26quot;GooGone%26quot; . This product will clean sticky adhesive off of anything!
Reply:buy one of the %26quot;orange%26quot; cleaners that contain orange oils. It%26#039;s great to have on hand for removing glue, gum, ink, tar, etc. It only takes a little on a paper towel and then wipe it on the sticky spot. The orange cleaner will dissolve the glue and the paper towel will soak it up.

After you wipe off the glue, clean the orange oil off with soap and water.
