They are black with chunky heels and good tread on the bottoms. The label says %26quot;All Man Made Materials%26quot;. I%26#039;d like them to last thoughout the winter or longer. Where I live, we have slushy parking lots for a good 4 months. I%26#039;m especially concerned about the seam where the top of the shoe meets the bottom. That%26#039;s where I%26#039;ve had shoes leek before and I end up with wet dirty sock. I know I can get waterproof shoes but I%26#039;m picky about the style. And how often do I have to weatherproof them, or can I do it once and it%26#039;ll last?
How can I weatherproof my shoes?
i cant remember what it is called but theres aspecial spray you can use itss works in about 30 mins and doesnt let rain in
Reply:Wet Seal, buy it at a shoe store. Report It
Reply:now a days mostly branded shoe polishes r water proof and they r good for short time but not for walking in flood or u start walking for miles in rain.
Reply:Go to any large chain store Walmart,K-Mart Target etc. and buy some leather conditioner. I am outside alot also and I bought some %26#039;Fiebing,s%26#039; mink oil paste at Walmart and it works well. Rub it into your shoes well before you ever wear them and it also softens the leather up.
Reply:If you go to any shoe store. They sell a spray that can keep water from damaging your shoes I buy it every time I get a good pair of shoes. It works very well.Hope this can help you.Depending on the brand you might have to do it more than once. But just read the can and it can answer that question a little better than I can
Reply:Wear rubber boots over them?
Reply:put plastic bags over them
Reply:Go to any shoe store and there is waterproofing spray that I think works really well. Water just beads off of it. Try applying every 2 weeks or so.
Reply:Put bags over them.........that would be a good idea!!!
